This is a random post with nothing at all to put in it really. I have begun working on the next images so I suppose that is important to say.
God I really hate blogging, I much prefare to just write the report itself. I found it much easier in the long run.

Finished Image 1

Finished. I wish, this is the the original image that I was going to go with. Fitting more with Masamune Shirow style of doing black and white images I original Designed both the Mayor and the Punk (bad guy) in colour and then later on turned then into black and white. This was original going to be one of a series of images layed out like a comic book. However I have decide to not go with this idea as it would take to long and I wish to do fewer but better looking images instead.

Masamune Shirow work and Hentai

 As I have said before, Shirow's work contains area's of Hentai. These are just two images showing how it appears within his work.

A somewhat finished, and somewhat not finished image at the same time. This is what I had in mind when I started off, however I also wanted to try and do a comic book about 10 or so pages long. If I still have time I'm planning on doing it. However I will have to wait and see, though I don't think this is good enough to get a high mark.

Masamune Shirow

Masamune Shirow artist style is a somewhat common Manga art style that is usually more associated with Manga's that are targeted towards an Adult Audience (Note: this doesn't mean Hentai). However like many other Manga's, Shirow art style do's still contain the somewhat more childish elements that are common is many Manga's. That still doesn't take away from the fact the Shirow work as Ghost in the Shell and Appleseed still contain and hint at some areas of Hentai. However this is not uncommon of Manga as a majored of its buyer theme to me man, who main or main not also be reading Hentai as well.

Furthermore Shirow though famous for having Strong Female lead characters ten’s to show his female characters at less naked once in one way or another, an example of this can be seen in both Ghost in the Shell with Major Kusanagi (main character) having to remove her cloths so that her camouflage (turning invisible) works, in fact for two full scenes at the start and end of the movie the Major is complete naked. This also happens in Shirow manga version.

Another example of Hentai also appears in Appleseed where Deunan Knute (main character) has a shower with Hitomi.    

HENTAI

Is a form of pornographic art, comic and animation particularly those of Japanese origin such as Manga. In Japan it can be used to mean ‘metamorphosis’ or ‘abnormality’.
Hentai is seen by most Western (European and America) people as a perverted sexually idea (cannot think of a better word to use) however this maybe because of the fact that Hentai to us is a disturbing, uncomfortable idea that we look down on in a way. But in Japan Hentai is an acceptable part of daily life and is acceptable even expected must but (again to use but a better word) for almost all teenager’s/adults almost in the way that it is expected that some adults will buy pornographic material such as ‘Play Boy’.

RANDOM FACT: Japan has the largest Porn Industry in the world, regardless of the fact that a huge part of Japanese society is based on a honour system. You would of though that taking part in porn would be to the Japanese un-honourable. 

Unlike pornographic material in the Western World Hentai can be brought by anyone under and or over the age of 18. This is because censorship laws are practiced different in Japan then they are in Europe, due to their being different laws. Japanese law discourages the showing of genitals in Hentai/Porn, while in America and Europe it is more concerned about forbidding the display of sex involving people under the age of 18.

A long time ago

It was a long time ago that I actually posted on this, between not having the time and forgetting I kind of just forget to write on this. 

Well let’s see what should I say and write. Actually this is kind of hard in a way usually I just write up a report or something and that's about it. But a weekly blog, well I just keep forgetting to do it.

MANGA

A common misunderstanding with Manga is there is only one style, usually contain disproportionate body types, pointe hair style, feminine man, women with large breast, etc., etc. (See Images Below)

 

However this is not true, Manga is in fact not an art style at all. But instead a name specifically giving to comic’s that were original published in Japanese. In fact the Japanese names for Manga ‘Komikku’ can simple are translated as ‘Whimsical Drawing’.

The reasoning and misunderstanding of Manga many in fact come from the fact that Japanese art has also been unrealistic (Note: This doesn’t include modern art) the reason for this is that Japanese art throughout history has also been characterized to appear human like but with disproportionate body type, hair, etc.

A prime example of this is no other then a painting by a Japanese artist Hokusai called ‘The Great Wave’ or simple otherwise known as ‘The Wave’.

 

Masamune Shirow

Masamune Shirow, a interesting man I must say. He is regarded as been one of the greatest Manga artist there is at the moment. His works on Appleseed and Ghost in the Shell are now world wide as some of the greats Manga's to date.
Ghost in the Shell was even a driven force in creation of the Matrix's and has defined modern sci-fi since it release back in 1989, and yet the only now image of him is cartoon drawing down by himself!   

I mean its a funny drawing and all but the question still remain's.                  

Who is Masamune Shirow!              

What is he like?                                

But most importantly is he ever going to do the third part of Ghost in the Shell?

These are questions I fear we may never now. OK maybe not fear, but questions we will never now as Masamune Shirow is a extremely private man who has never once let the press now who he is.
